warranty conditions

Warranty conditions of KSE-LIGHTS GmbH, as of 11.2024

For all products of KSE-LIGHTS GmbH, the statutory warranty of 24 months applies to any
Types of errors or malfunctions caused by production defects.
For accumulators, we grant a shortened warranty of 12 months.
Furthermore, KSE-LIGHTS GmbH grants goodwill in the following product groups
an extended warranty for smooth operation beyond the statutory warranty period
beyond:

1. Rechargeable luminaires
   Warranty: 2 years with normal use and a maximum of 250 charge cycles per year. Excluded from the
   Warranty is a capacity degradation of up to 20%, which is considered normal wear and tear.
2. Rechargeable luminaires of the “SUPAHERO” series
   Warranty: 3 years on luminaire and accumulator, with a maximum of 250 charge cycles per year. A
   Capacity degradation of up to 20% is not covered by the warranty, as this corresponds to normal wear and tear.
3. Mobile room luminaires of the FSL series (LED-MAMBA)
   Function guarantee: 2 years and a maximum of 15,000 operating hours with an L70B50 classification (i.e. a maximum of 30% light output loss at most 50% of the diodes).
4. Mobile room luminaires of the PML series (LED-Moon)
   Function guarantee: 2 years, regardless of the number of operating hours, with an L70B50 classification (i.e. a maximum of 30% light output loss at most 50% of the diodes).
5. Stationary luminaires with ATEX type examination
   Function guarantee: 3 years, regardless of the number of operating hours, with an L70B50 classification (i.e. a maximum of 30% light output loss at most 50% of the diodes).
6. Stationary lights of the TL, ML, HT, and UF series
   Function warranty: 5 years, regardless of the number of operating hours, with an L80B50 classification (i.e., a maximum of 20% light output loss at most 50% of the diodes).
7. All other products and accessories
   A warranty of 2 years applies.

Exclusions from the warranty

KSE-LIGHTS GmbH does not provide any warranty or guarantee in the following cases:

• Improper use of the products.
• Corrosion damage caused by external influences that are not due to a
• Production defects are attributable.
• Clearly inadequate or not performed maintenance and cleaning of the products.
• Damage from unauthorized repairs or modifications to the product that have not been carried out by authorized professionals.
• Damage caused by the use of spare parts or accessories that are not from KSE-LIGHTS GmbH or not recommended by the manufacturer.
• Excessive physical stress or mechanical damage, such as falls, impacts, or improper storage.

Important notes on warranty conditions

• The extended warranty begins on the date of delivery or invoicing and ends after the specified period has expired.
• In the event of a warranty claim, KSE-LIGHTS GmbH will repair or replace the defective product at its discretion. Replacement deliveries are made subject to availability.
• KSE-LIGHTS reserves the right to provide a technically equivalent replacement product in the event of discontinuations.
• Warranty claims can only be made if the product has been used properly and in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
• A normal capacity loss of up to 20% in batteries is not covered by the warranty, as this is considered normal wear and tear.

The above warranty conditions do not affect the buyer's statutory rights.
